Qom – Director of Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy (ISCA) called on all Muslim countries to march towards unity under the president sensitive circumstances.

According to the international section of ISCA information Website, Hujjatulislam Muballeghi, while meeting with a mission of Bahrain Shiite scholars said: “Though there is Islamic unity in Bahrain, Islamic unity must get further strengthened through using virtual spaces like internet websites, dailies and making contacts with international scholarly circles”.

Referring to the old background of Bahrain in producing Shiite heritage, he pointed out: “Shiite heritage left by Bahrain Shiite jurists are so rich that sometimes there is no alternative except referring to sources left by Bahrain Shiite scholars”.

“The presence of Bahrain in the sphere of Islamic thought is increasing. Not only Bahrain has not stopped contributing to Islamic thoughts but it has increased the amount of its contribution in this regard”, he mentioned.

“A glance at the written works by Bahrain scholars shows that Bahrain scholars have never missed their goals and objectives despite the problems they have faced in this regard. An examination of their work reveals that Bahrain scholars have not restricted their attention to Bahrain alone. Rather they have developed in international approach towards Islamic societies”, this member of the international assembly of approximation of Islamic sects, said.

“I am very pleased to see informed independent scholars defending peoples’ rights in Bahrain as part of Islamic Umma”, he added.

Present at this meeting were Sayyid Majid Masha’l, head of assembly of Bahrain scholars, Sheikh Ali Muntaqavi, member of al-tawiya association, Shiekh Fazil Zaki, member of assembly of Bahrain scholars and Abdullah Daqqaq, director of Athar seminary. In this meeting, head of assembly of Bahrain scholars asked for further cooperation between Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy and scientific research centers in Bahrain. The mission visited Islamic Propagation Office of Qom Seminary and Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy and attended some scholarly meetings at the request of the office of scientific and international cooperation of the Academy.
