Director of Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy (ISCA) asked director of Qatar National Library to provide facilities for the more and better participation of Iranian publishers and scientific and research institutes at Doha International Book Fair.

According to the international section of ISCA Information Website, Hujjatulislam Ahmad Muballeghi, in a meeting with Dr. Abdullah Ansari, director of Qatar National Library, while stressing on reviving and swapping manuscripts, said: “Iran and Qatar must carry out a shared scientific study on manuscripts”.

Referring to the collection of documents on Islamic civilization, he said: “This collective work can be done both on Waqf as well as other social institutions”.

The parties stressed on signing a memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation.

Referring to the fact that Doha is selected as the cultural capital of Arab countries, director of Qatar National Library said: “One weak was named as Iranian cultural weak allowing Iran to present its works, capacities, arts etc. through its cultural consul in Qatar”.

“One important and shared cooperation that can be done on cultural relations between the two countries is publishing a cultural and literary weakly by Iran and Qatar. This will cover all cultural, Islamic and literary issues existing between the two countries and will be published by Iran and Qatar consuls.
