Multi-meaningness
in the Holy Quran; an introduction into Quranic indications by Sayyid
Mahmood Tayyib Husaini was published by Seminary and University
Academy.
Multi-meaningness in the Holy Quran is composed of
six chapters which include discussions such as generalities, background of
multi-meaningness, discussions effective in choosing fundamentals, perspectives
on multi-meaningness with arguments for and against it and assessing examples of
multi-meaningness in the holy Quran.
Other
topics touched by the author include esoteric meaning of the holy Quran,
examples of ‘tawriya’ in the holy Quran, multi-meaning indications in written
form, examples of metaphor in the holy Quran and the background of
multi-meaningness in the principles of jurisprudence. The work has also touched
such problems as multi-meaningness among jurists, multi-meaningness among
exegetes, indication and concept and their relation with meaning,
lexicographical commonality, kinds of contract, contractor, Quranic language and
public language. This book consists of 306 pages.
